:::NEWEST RELEASE - PRAISE THE MACHINE:::
The new Another Dead Hero record was completed in late 2006, once again Produced by Steve Perry at Stag Studios, Witham. This new record is again, another huge leap for the band. Their sound is bigger, heavier, thicker; but also lighter, and more melodic.The bass and guitars work better together, with Saunders (R), Saunders (C), Marsala and Houghton often creating melodies that are poles apart, yet beautifully entwined. The percussion (Allum) and drums (Burley) interweave in lighter areas and lock up firmly for the heavier, punchier assaults.
There is also some rather beautiful synth work and sampling courtesy of Chris Murphy (Bassist with Braintree Punks, Arcade; of which Chris Saunders and Dan Allum are also members). Also of Arcade is Blake Lincoln, who lent his vocal talents to 'Deon'. Vocals are also performed on this album by Chris Houghton ('Inanition'/'Orb') and Jack Burley ('Hydrophobia').
